Ballifield Club

Ballifield Club is run by Paisley who is the main manager for the setting. Ann is the manager when Paisley is not at the club and Alasdair and Julie are playworkers.


Paisley Day 

Paisley is the new Club Manager, she has a BTEC Diplomain Child Care, Learning and Development and is currently studying for a Foundation Degree in Childhood Studies. She has considerable experience caring for a wide range of children with different abilities and backgrounds.

Paisley has a current paediatric first aid certificate and Safeguarding qualification.



 Ann-Robertson-1Ann Robertson

We have been lucky to recruit Ann to work alongside Pasley, Alasdair and Julie in running the after school club. Ann has 18 years' experience as a teaching assistant in a primary school working with children with a wide range of abilities. She has been qualified to NVQ 3 level since 2006 and has also gained a range of Level 3 Open College credits including one for Special Educational Needs. She has Safeguarding Children qualifications and Paediatric First Aid.


  Alasdair Baine 

 Alasdair has been with the club since it began. He has a B.A degree, level 2 certificate in Teaching and Learning, a Sports Leader certificate, Emergency First Aid and Ballifield leading parent partnership award. He knows the children well as he has worked with the children at Ballifield School as a volunteer helper, lunchtime supervisor and playworker at Amys House Special Needs facility for the past five and a half years.





Julie is a playworker.She is a qualified staff nurse and worked at Northern General in the spinal injuries unit for 14 years and then as a community nurse. Julie moved to Dubai with her husband's work and spent time working in English schools there, as a teaching assistant and as a school nurse. When she returned to the UK in March, she had enjoyed her work with children so much she looked to do the same in Sheffield and as a result came to work for JPAC Ltd in the after school club. She has had a wide variety of experiences with children from different nationalities and cultures, as a result of her travels. She is currently studying for an NVQ level 2 in play work. She brings an extra dimention to this strong team.
